Chlorpromazine
Chlorpromazine, Thorazine (chlorpromazine) is a small molecule pharmaceutical. Chlorpromazine was first approved as Thorazine on 1982-01-01. It is used to treat acute intermittent porphyria, anxiety disorders, attention deficit and disruptive behavior disorders, child behavior disorders, and hiccup amongst others in the USA. The pharmaceutical is active against 5-hydroxytryptamine receptor 2A. In addition, it is known to target alpha-2B adrenergic receptor, D(3) dopamine receptor, short transient receptor potential channel 5, D(4) dopamine receptor, D(1A) dopamine receptor, D(1B) dopamine receptor, 5-hydroxytryptamine receptor 1A, 5-hydroxytryptamine receptor 2C, histamine H1 receptor, alpha-2C adrenergic receptor, D(2) dopamine receptor, 5-hydroxytryptamine receptor 7, alpha-2A adrenergic receptor, and 5-hydroxytryptamine receptor 6.

It has a role as a phenothiazine antipsychotic drug, an antiemetic, a dopaminergic antagonist, an EC 3.4.21.26 (prolyl oligopeptidase) inhibitor and an anticoronaviral agent.
